Laptop crashed the following day so I didn't have internet access all week. Lost my blackberry on the taxi so I was completely disconnected. All I did was work and TV...couldn't even see Chicago =(
It looks like a quieter version of NY. I might have to give it another try one of these days to see what is so special about it.
Going to try to log my Chicago business trip here. Hopefully it gets filled with some useful details instead of it being completely boring. Forgot to bring a camera so no pictures =T
So I arrived at the airport and checked in pretty quickly. Chicago feels very similar to NYC, even the street I'm on feels like Madison or park Ave. Had a quick dinner at a huge McDonalds. Had to wait till 12 to sign on since I have to pay $10 a day for connection, figured I'll wait until midnight to start the day.
Just getting ready to sleep now, shirts are ironed (yes I ironed) and just downloading some business material. Pretty excited to get some good onsite work done this week and check out the sites. Too bad it looks like it's getting earlier than normal.
work is sending me out to chicago next week. i finally get to go somewhere! should be really fun and really cold..
life is pretty funny. i remember thinking about how my friends from elementary school / junior high were doing and i was finally able to get in touch with them! man, they knew me when i was little!! but yea, that put me in a good mood. all the memories when life was just innocent, where everything was about having fun and when the future didn't matter...it makes me feel so old!
hope to meet up with them soon, it's so interesting to see how they are, wondering what kind of person they grew up to be, if what you thought about them became true, man...so many questions...
there's still alot that i wish i can get in contact with, wonder what they are up to now....

Tomorrow is going to be 78 degrees?? what the freak! Man this means winter is going to be really really cold...
